At Waffles on Wheels RVA, we specialize in authentic Belgian Liège waffles, a beloved Belgian street-food tradition known for its rich flavor, soft interior and beautifully caramelized exterior.
Unlike traditional American-style waffles, Liège waffles are made with a rich, yeasted dough and pearl sugar. As each waffle cooks in our Belgian cast-iron waffle irons, the pearl sugar caramelizes, creating a deliciously crisp outside and a warm, soft center.
We prepare our waffles fresh, serving them warm with an assortment of delicious toppings and flavor combinations.
